The vehicle will leave the venue, for half day city tour of New Delhi. New Delhi was designed and built by the British in the 1920's - it's a city of wide boulevards, impressive government buildings, green parks and gardens. You will visit two monuments from Delhi's past - Humayun's Tomb and Qutab Minar. Your drive takes you along the ceremonial avenue.

Here you will see Red Fort, the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire; Raj Ghat, the memorial site of the Mahatma Gandhi; Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India; and Chandni Chowk, the bustling and colorful market of the old city.

The vehicle will leave the venue for half day visit to Akshardham temple, a unique & beautiful monument built without steel, consists of 234 ornately carved pillars, 9 ornate domes, 20 quadrangled shikhars, spectacular Gajendra Pith (plinth of stone elephants) and 20,000 murtis and statues of India’s great sadhus, devotees, acharyas and divine personalities.

Half day tour of National Museum (AT4)
Dep: 0930 and 1430 hrs.
The vehicle will leave the venue for half day visit to the National Museum located on Janpath. The National Museum has a good collection of Indian bronzes, terracotta and wood sculpture dating back to the Mauryan period (2nd - 3rd century BC), exhibits from the Vijayanagar period in south India, miniature and mural paintings, and costumes of the various tribal peoples.

Delhi at Night tour (AT6)
Dep: 1830 hrs.
Pick-up from hotel, drive to India Gate via National Museum, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib and Raj Path. Arrive Red Fort via Ferozshah Kotla, enjoy Sound & Light Show (English) Drive back via Delhi Gate. Dinner at a good restaurant (at own cost). Drop at hotel.Delhi's open vistas and vide boulevards become even more enchanting and mesmerizing as the clear starry skies twinkle on in monument. Delhi by evening is a journey that will go on and on, lingering in your mind even long after it ends. Places visited / Driven past: Red fort , Ferozshah Kotla , Delhi Gate , Purana Quila , India Gate , Parliament House , Teen Murti Bhawan .
