BM Trephine Biopsy Pre-conference Workshop, ISHTM

One day workshop on BMB is being organized on 19th November,

2009. The workshop will consist of -

i) Lectures in the morning 8.30 to 1.30

ii)Hands on workshop. 2 PM to 6 PM

The topics in the lectures will consists of:-

BMB-Procedure and normal histomorphology

Bone Marrow in anemias

Disorders of MPS

BM in Lymphoproliferative disorders, M.Myeloma

BM in Myeloproliferative disorders

BM in MDS

BM in acute leukemias

BM in Marrow failure syndromes

BM in Metastasis & AIDS

BMB in Osteopathies

Granulomatous (including fungal) lesions of BM

Slide Session 2 PM to 6 PM

In the Slide Session each delegate will go through 50 sets of slides. Each set will consist of PS, BMA and BMB of the lesion. Each slide will be marked with dots and circles and description of each slide will be provided. Faculty will be at hand to explain the slides to delegates.

For the Slide session only 50 seats on ‘FIRST COME FIRST SERVE’  are available.

All delegates need to be registered for conference before being considered for workshop.

Delegates from Delhi are requested to bring their own Binocular Microscopes; however monocular microscopes will be available.
